There has been some reports on the Daily Telegraph which have claimed Chelsea are lining up a summer swoop for FC Porto powerhouse
Eliaquim Mangala.
But only if Porto drop their asking price of €50 million (£42 million) – the release clause for the 22-year-old central defender who featured for his club in last weekend’s Emirates Cup at Arsenal.
Chelsea would want to pay no more than half that and the latest indications are that Porto might be willing to negotiate. (Telegraph)
The man is very highly-rated in the game and Mourinho is a massive fan of his services, so if they do nail down his signature it would be a fantastic move by the club
